After returning from Glastonbury last weekend, I'm bursting with musical excitement. This is me venting some of it. There will almost certainly be more to follow!
What I saw...
Glasto highlights
1. Apocalyptic raving under the flaming giant spider at Arcadia to the Stanton Warriors
2. Being at the front for Queens Of The Stone Age
3. Seeing how happy Elbow were to be playing the pyramid to a crowd who knew all their lyrics - 20 years in the making!
4. The utter filth that came out of the Dance Village. Thank you Trolley Snatcha, Netsky, Nero, and Sub Focus. You all smashed it!
5. Boogying with topless mermaids, burlesque dancers and beat-boxers in Shangri-la
6. Whatever was coming out of the speakers in Sharky's at 6am on Saturday
7. Catching Radiohead as special guests
8. Watching the beauties that are Warpaint
10. Discovering Foster The People totally randomly
11. Listening to Tame Impala playing Angel
12 Friday morning of Metronomy and Two Door Cinema Club to lift everyone's spirits through the rain and on to people's shoulders
13. Watching Singai Shoniwa of the Noisettes climb the scaffolding, hanging from it and singing upside-down
14. Getting energised by Everything Everything
15. Silent disco!
16. Randomly bumping in to so many people I know!
17. Not going to bed before 3am
18. Camp Bistro morning tea - JIMP.
19. The Cider Bus
20. Burritos!
